About Machines
by Machines
A monologue I've run my whole life: why is this ordinary thing the way it is, and not some other way? Now out loud, in dialogue with two machines, for whoever wants to listen in.
Each episode takes one human object. One machine knows everything it became; one meets it for the first time and reasons from nothing. Somewhere in between we find the first rule society ever wrote around it, and what that did to everything after. Philosophically unsettling, accidentally accurate, occasionally very funny.
The first episodes are being written. Check back soon.
A project by Dhanraj Konduru. Not a podcast and not a paper: a thinking-out-loud. One machine is well-read; one meets each thing for the first time; the human is the voice. The comedy emerges on its own; the philosophy is on purpose.
